WEST HENRIETTA, N.Y., May 15, 2012 — Rochester Precision Optics has announced the debut of its FireEye line of infrared standard products.
Designed for the newest compact infrared focal planes offered by Flir and other manufacturers, this light and compact lens family comes to the market thanks to developments in wafer-scale manufacturing, which allow manufacturers to develop technologies that are lighter in weight and smaller in size.
Made in 13-, 17- and 22-mm focal lengths with f/1.3, the FireEye objectives operate over a temperature range from −40 to 85 °C.
The 13-mm model offers a field of view of 57°; the 17-mm model’s is 45°, and the 22-mm model’s is 36°. All have a back working distance of 3.26 mm.
