BERLIN, Nov. 10, 2014 — The advanced LumiSolarProfessional inline inspection system from greateyes and LSA automation can detect a variety of defects including micro-cracks, low-intensity cells and contamination in pre-laminates and solar modules.

It can determine misaligned busbars, rotated solar cells and other quality issues within a 26-s cycle time. Its electroluminescence imaging subsystem cameras feature a 13-µm pixel size and a resolution of 500 µm.
