ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 23, 2014 — FluxData’s Intelligent SWIR camera system incorporates Sensors Unlimited InGaAs SWIR cameras with onboard processors for snapshot image and video recording, real-time processing, video compression and communication.

Available in NIR/SWIR, SWIR and multispectral SWIR versions, the system enables the extraction of spectral information indiscernible from traditional panchromatic SWIR imagery. A collaboration with PIXELTEQ includes a pixelated filter array for the simultaneous acquisition of three or more spectral bands with a single camera.

The Intelligent SWIR Camera System provides a small, lightweight platform built on the TI DM3730 processor. Running under Linux, the system can integrate with existing system infrastructures and peripheral sensors, such as tactical radios, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and acoustic sensors.
