Interlaced Color Cameras

JAI Inc. has released color versions of its TM-77X and RM-67X lines of small interlaced CCD video cameras, which are targeted primarily at defense and homeland security applications. The TMC-773 and TMC-775, with 1/3- and 1/2-in. sensor formats, respectively, and the RMC-673 and RMC-675 all provide high sensitivity and image quality with signal-to-noise ratios of better than 50 dB. They join the six previously announced monochrome models – three with RS-170 interfaces and three with CCIR interfaces – to give customers a full range of choices for traditional analog applications, including vehicle-mounted systems and other high-end surveillance or situational awareness scenarios. Designers easily can find the right model to fit the optics in their current system designs, or they can gradually migrate from one platform to the other as needs evolve.
