Ibsen Photonics A/S has released a high-speed version of its extended-wavelength range of I-MON interrogation monitors for fibre Bragg grating sensor systems. The I-MON E uses the company’s fused silica transmission gratings and offers kilohertz measurement frequency and subpicometer resolution in its 85-nm bandwidth window. It also features broad wavelength ranges, high resolution and no moving parts. Applications include vibration analysis, temperature and strain measurements, and pressure monitoring.
