Ibsen Photonics A/S has released an extended-wavelength version of its I-Mon interrogation monitor for fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors. The 512E-USB builds upon previous models with an increased wavelength range (1510 to 1595 nm) while maintaining high sensitivity, subpicometer resolution and ease of use. The monitor features the company’s fused silica transmission gratings and offers fast measurement frequency, compact size and low power consumption. It is designed for a variety of FBG applications.
