Inverted microscope
Nikon Instruments Inc.Request Info
Nikon Instruments Inc. has launched the Eclipse Ti-E motorized inverted research microscope with a fully integrated “perfect focus system” and high-speed motorization for improved live-cell imaging for biological, medical and pharmaceutical science research. The system’s components can be intelligently controlled in parallel via proprietary NIS-Elements software for high image data throughput and multidimensional image capture sequences that cause less cell damage. The microscope’s features include multiple camera ports, 52 objective choices and an expanded fluorescence spectral range from 340 to 750 nm. An external phase contrast system is incorporated into the microscope body, rather than into the objective lens, reducing light loss. Five kinds of fluorescence illuminators are offered to support research using Förster resonance energy transfer ratio, total internal reflection fluorescence and photoactivation technologies.
