SOLNA, Sweden, Oct. 14, 2008 – The Cobolt Jive 561 nm continuous-wave solid-state laser from Cobolt AB is now available with output power levels up to 100 mW.

The single longitudinal mode laser is built into a hermetically sealed compact package using the company’s HTCure technology and offers additional output power levels of 10, 25, 50 and 75 mW. It features a low noise of < 0.3% rms, a narrow spectral line width of < 30 MHz and a high beam quality of M2 < 1.1.Cobolt-Jive.jpg

It is suitable for fluorescence analysis applications, including spinning-disc or TIRF confocal microscopy and cell sorting.
