The KT230-EDLM linear positioning stage from Steinmeyer Inc. is driven by an ironless core three-phase linear motor and includes an electromagnetic brake as a safety feature in the event of a power loss.

The stage incorporates an integrated temperature sensor as well as Hall effect limit switches. The body is manufactured from a low-distortion aluminum alloy (black anodized) and includes high-stiffness, backlash-free, stainless steel cross-roller linear bearings.

Features include travel of 110 × 110 mm, positional accuracy of ±3 μm, repeatability of 0.05 μm and maximum load of 150 N. The stage is suitable for robotics, laser machining, and medical, semiconductor, scientific and other applications.
