With a footprint of 22 × 23 mm, the devices feature a self-powered rotation counter that avoids backup batteries or complex gear systems. They are designed for builders of servomotors, feedback-controlled stepper motors, microdrives, miniature robots, and other machines where high-precision position feedback is required and space is limited. A 17-bit electronic resolution and a multiturn measurement range of up to 32 bits is featured.

Robust magnetics, high operational reliability, an integrated temperature sensor, and maintenance-free operation help to reduce the cost of ownership.
