L100 and L200 Linear Stages

The new L100 and L200 linear stages manufactured by piezosystem jena GmbH are based on voice coil technology.

With a maximum speed of 200 mm/s, the stages are suited for high-acceleration and heavy-load applications, and the positioning resolution of 50 nm offers exact positioning over a linear travel range of 20 mm.

The stages generate a force of up to 18 N and are equipped with a noncontact optical encoder for improved precision and accuracy. The voice coil design offers motion free of friction, rendering the systems quiet and maintenance-free.

By combining high accuracy, high speed and high acceleration, they meet the requirements of a wide range of nanopositioning applications, including pick-and-place automation, semiconductors and photonics.

The stages can be offered with the VCC7 controller unit, which includes a servo controller and an RS-232 interface. They are designed for easy integration into industrial setups.
