Trumpf Inc. has introduced Trumark software for its VectorMark laser marking systems. It operates in Windows, using a true 32-bit format and, the company says, achieves fast setup and cycle times. The database contains laser parameters for many common materials, which can be dragged and dropped from the library to a specific CAD part file. Part files are automatically upgraded as parameters for specific materials are improved. The software manages multiple laser processing sequences, simplifies multiple-stage operations, and prints photographic-quality raster and 16-bit gray-scale images. It enables the VectorMark to mark in three dimensions. It comes with a stand-alone CAD editor and imports most standard CAD format graphics as well as bmp, tiff, jpeg and pcx.
