LASER OPTICS Sill Optics GmbH & Co. KG has released four standard models of f-Theta objectives for 405-nm printing applications, particularly for the process of transferring digital data from computers directly onto plates. The objectives produce diffraction-limited spots over the entire scan area for high-resolution results, and they offer laser beam diameters of up to 14 mm and exposure lengths of ≥600 mm. Antireflection coating makes them suitable for use in the 400- to 410-nm range, and other wavelengths are possible upon request. The laser optics are made of highly transmissive glass, with total transmission, including coating losses, of at least 95%.
