The LDTCxx20 integrates a 500 mA or 1A laser diode driver and 2.2 A temperature control in a compact package. The temperature controller can use NTC or PTC sensors, achieves stability of 0.0009 °C, and independent cooling- and heating-current limits allow use with thermoelectric coolers or resistive heaters. The current limit circuit clamps laser diode current without ringing or overshoot, and protection circuitry makes this controller ideal for high performance, cutting edge applications.
