LedEngin_5W_Whiteemitter_2.jpgLedEngin Inc. has launched the LZ line of ultrahigh-brightness 1-, 3-, 5-, 10- and 15-W LEDs offered in red, green, blue, dental blue infrared, ultraviolet and white. The single-die 1-, 3- and 5-W models have a 4.4 × 4.4-mm footprint, and the four-die 10- and 15-W types measure 7 mm on each side. Lumen maintenance exceeds 90% on average after 50,000 h of operation. All LEDs are supplied in a surface-mount lead-free, RoHS-compliant infrared reflow solderable package. The LZ-005005W1G white LED features thermal resistance from junction to case of 6 °C/W, forward current of 1500 mA, power dissipation of 4.3 W and an operating temperature from –40 to 85 °C.
