TT electronics’ Optek Technology and IRC Advanced Film divisions have developed an LED design kit based on IRC’s Anotherm, a thermally conductive aluminum alloy substrate. Visible LEDs and other components are mountable directly on the substrate, reducing or eliminating the need for heat sinks and mounting hardware. The kit comprises lighting modules, assemblies, components and accessories. Each kit includes three LED drivers to power the assemblies, which feature Optek’s OVSPxBCR4 series 1-W LEDs. Available in yellow, blue, green, red and white, they offer a full 120° viewing angle and an ultralow board-mounted profile. Items in the kit also can be purchased separately.
