InfiniLED has released a demonstrator board that enables companies and research organizations to test and evaluate µLED technology at their own facilities.

The board includes three µLED designs: a single-pixel, 20-µm-diameter emitter; a cluster of 37 emitters (all emitting in parallel); and a mini-array of three individually switching 20-µm pixels. The board includes a reference-standard LED and a 20-µm-diameter reference emitter; the emitter does not include the patented µLED technology.

The size of a credit card, the board is suitable for a number of experimental setups. It includes a battery power source and can be driven from a USB port, so it can be used for presentations and design meetings.
