The LUMAWISE Z45 LED Holder from TE Connectivity Ltd. is a second-generation device made from high-strength, highly reflective, halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic.

Designed for chip-on-board (COB) LEDs, the LUMAWISE Z45 is 5 mm smaller in diameter compared to the Z50 holder and uses adhesive for fast and easy assembly of the LEDs in the luminaire. The holder provides a quick and easy solderless connection to COB LED arrays through the use of poke-in contacts and adhesive bonding. It conforms to Zhaga standards for LED modules, making it compatible with other LED lighting components.

The standard screw pitch of 35 mm enables the use of standard heat sink drilling and mounting procedures. The 120° optic angle of the LED holder keeps light loss to a minimum and the use of adhesive for LED assembly allows for high COB-size tolerance, without the need for a clamping system. The design of the holder ensures even distribution of pressure from the LED across the heat sink.
