Instrument Systems GmbH has unveiled an LED metrology station that includes a start-up package, the MAS40 USB-controlled CCD array spectrometer, measurement adapters for luminous intensity and flux, a programmable LED current source and a goniophotometer that records spatial radiation patterns. SpecWin Light software provides instrument control and data evaluation and analysis. The spectrometer has a range of 200 to 950 nm, and the adapters measure intensity from 0.4 mcd to 4 cd and flux from 20 mlm to 200 lm. Dominant wavelength, chromaticity coordinates, and color temperature and rendering index are evaluated simultaneously with intensity and flux. Measurement data can be traced to the international standards of the German National Metrology Institute.
