InfraTec GmbH’s latest detector, the LFP-3144C-337, offers an integrated tunable Fabry-Perot (FP) filter and closed-loop control driven by an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM).

Advanced continuous-capacitance measurements allow for the influence of gravity, low-frequency vibrations and temperature shifts. The closed-loop control improves center-wavelength stability under the influence of changing gravity; e.g., by rotating the detectors inside a portable device.

The device covers a tuning range of 3.1 to 4.4 µm, which includes the CO2 absorption band at 4.26 µm. It will be available in the second quarter of this year.
