Terahertz Technologies Inc. has introduced a line of laser light sources for fiber optic test equipment. The FLS-1350 series is available with dual or single laser outputs of 1310 and 1550 nm, ±20 nm. The devices have an LCD that shows the actual measured wavelength, an automatic off mode that shuts down the light source after 15 min of inactivity and a waterproof carrying case. Specifications include an output power level of -10 dBm, typical temperature stability of 0.02 dB/°C and power level stability of 0.05 dB for 24 h at constant temperature. FC, ST and single-mode PC connectors are available.
