The model 7225 DSP lock-in amplifier from PerkinElmer Instruments offers sensitivity down to 2 nV, harmonic detection up to 32f and output filter time constants from 10 µs to 100 ks. Operating over a frequency range from 0.001 Hz to 120 kHz, the device has a switchable FET, bipolar voltage mode inputs and a built-in current preamplifier for optimum coupling to the signal source. A quartz crystal stabilized internal oscillator enables instant lock acquisition in internal reference mode, while a synchronous oscillator output allows input offset reduction for externally referenced experiments.
