Applied Scientific Instrumentation’s LS series of linear stages provides submicron accuracy using closed-loop DC servomotors and high-resolution rotary encoders for positioning feedback.

An optional linear encoder can be added to the unit to provide greater positioning accuracy. The stages use crossed-roller slides, precision leadscrews and zero-backlash miniature geared DC servomotors for smooth and accurate motion, offering precise travel in a range of 50 to 200 mm. Longer models are also available.

The stage can be used both vertically and horizontally, carrying vertical loads of up to 4.5 kg and horizontal loads >45 kg. Standard and OEM configurations are available.
