WILSONVILLE, Ore., Oct. 20, 2016 — Flir Systems Inc. has announced the Lepton longwave infrared imager, a device that is 10 times less expensive than traditional thermal cameras.

With a a resolution of 80 × 60 active pixels in a camera core smaller than a dime, Lepton brings thermal imaging to a new generation of electronic devices for work, play and mission-critical applications.
