DANBURY, Conn., Dec. 17, 2014 — ConOptics Model 815ConOptics Inc.’s Model 815 laser aperture free-space optical insulator is designed for use with Nd:YAG lasers (1064 nm).

It features an operating range of 1020 to 1100 nm, an aperture of 8 mm, isolation of >30 dB, transmission of >92 percent, a damage threshold of 500 W/cm2 for CW lasers and a 150 MW/cm2 for pulse lasers.
