Enclosures from the IP67-protected Orca large-camera line are available from auto-Vimation for all cameras with a cross section of up to 62 x 62 mm, including line-scan models from Toshiba Teli, SVS Vistek, Basler and the Rauscher AViiVA versions, as well as Sick’s Ranger line. Orca enclosures are based on a patented quick-lock and heat-guide system that thermally couples the camera to the outer enclosure wall. Because of the passive cooling effect of the wall, the camera temperature is reduced by up to 10°. The mounting position within the enclosure is flexible, enabling the camera to be installed at any angle and in any position. Combined with the proprietary mechanical kit for image processing solutions, the enclosures can be used to create complete machine vision systems.
