SPARTANBURG, S.C., Dec. 9, 2014 — Precision, large-diameter fiber (LDF) cleavers from Fujikura are designed for the oil, gas, R&D and medical industries.

With the ability to cleave 80-µm- to 1.25-mm-diameter fibers — flat and angled — the CT-105 and CT-106 have programming features that allow for consistent results. The cleaver provides programmable features including an automatic clamp function, an angle cleaving function, storage for up to 100 program modes and a blade life of 20,000 cleaves.
