Vytran’s LFS-4100 is a new user-friendly, high-performance splicer designed for use on fibers as large as 1.25 mm in diameter. LFS-4100 uses filament fusion technology to create high-strength, low-loss splices on standard and specialty fibers, including PM fibers, PCF and noncircular shapes. It is ideal for volume production applications such as fiber laser manufacturing and producing many fiber-based medical devices.
