LAKE MARY, Fla., April 6, 2016 — Fonon Corp. has announced a series of advancements to its Titan FX laser cutting machine.

Due to the highly reflective nature of certain metals and materials, a large number cannot be efficiently cut with conventional CO2 lasers including aluminum, copper and brass. Fonon’s latest laser technology benefits from a unique understanding of material behavior at transition temperatures. The systems incorporate advanced lasers which are configured for metal cutting with variable laser beam output parameters.

The cutting machine is ideal for use with a broad variety of metals with changing thicknesses. Manufacturers of construction equipment, aluminum vehicles, kitchenware, copper and brass gaskets, food processing equipment, and materials used in the aerospace and defense industries can also take advantage of these advancements.
