Laser Diode Modules
The Optoelectronics Co. Ltd.Request Info
The Optoelectronics Co. Ltd. has introduced a line of tiny laser diode modules designed for OEMs, end users and systems integrators.
The modules combine an Opnext (Oclaro) laser diode with externally adjustable optics, a Panasonic aspherical glass lens, sophisticated electronics and a rugged modular anodized aluminum housing to provide a laser source for use in industrial and medical alignment, low-level laser therapy, inspection and sensing in compact spaces.
The continuous-wave visible or infrared lasers measure 11 × 49 mm and produce a high-quality elliptical beam. They offer low noise and output stability and are available at lasing wavelengths of 635, 639, 660, 830 and 852 nm, and at powers of up to 75 mW. For easy identification, they are supplied with colored end caps or customer-specified engraving on the rear sleeve.
With an operating voltage of 3 to 6 VDC and a broad ambient temperature operating range from –10 to 50 ºC, the modules are static-, surge- and reverse-polarity-protected and RoHS-compliant. Electrical connections are made via 300-mm external flying leads.
