OSI Laser Diode Inc. has introduced laser fiber packaging options for its CVD (chemical vapor deposition) high-power laser line. The packaging is suitable for use in optical sensors, cloud measurement, rangefinding and industrial applications.

Designed for stability and high bandwidth capability, the packaging features coaxial cable construction, which permits a fiber option for lasers with a small footprint. The packaging is available for 850-, 905- and 1550-nm single-chip and stacked devices.
