TALENCE, France, May 13, 2016 — Laser Fusion RemodelingAlphanov has developed a laser fusion remodeling process using a 6-axis robot coupled to a scanner head.

The reshaping laser process is offered as a service and has been implemented on stainless steel, aluminum and nickel cobalt flat samples with a resolution down to 50 μm and an average speed up to 40 s/cm2.

Developments are underway to apply the process to 3D parts or to other materials such as gold, brass or copper.
