VICTOR, N.Y., Jan. 15, 2015 — Toptica DLC TA-SHGThe DLC TA-SHG from Toptica Photonics Inc. is a laser head with automated functions that lower noise levels and narrow linewidths for condensed matter experiments.

The laser offers wavelengths from 320 to 780 nm, a linewidth of <500 kHz, up to 1200 mW of output power and an air-tight second-harmonic-generation resonator with a leak rate <10-3 mBar l/s.

Applications include measuring Rydberg transitions in alkali atoms, optical cooling of alkaline earth metals and sodium atoms, and experiments with ions.
