HAMAMATSU CITY, Japan, Dec. 13, 2021 — Laser Heating SystemsHamamatsu Photonics KK has announced the L16490-343 lineup of laser heating systems optimized for thermal processing tasks including soldering, plastic welding, and adhesive thermal curing.

The devices optimize laser output powers and spot diameters, helping users select the ideal laser-heating system for various applications. Five models are available, with each system consisting of an LD irradiation light source, a laser transmission optical fiber, and a beam irradiation unit. All are designed and combined to exhibit optimum performance for specific laser thermal processing applications and tasks. Compared to conventional heating methods, laser thermal processing delivers higher efficiency at a lower environmental load, helping reduce carbon emissions.
