BARRINGTON, N.J., Oct. 25, 2018 — Laser Line MirrorsEdmund Optics Inc. has announced additional coatings and sizes for its TECHSPEC Nd:YAG Laser LineMmirrors.

The Laser Line Mirrors provide the high reflectance, surface quality, and accuracy needed for a wide variety of demanding Nd:YAG and Nd:YLF laser applications, including high-power beam delivery and laser-beam steering up to the fourth harmonic at 266 nm. They are manufactured using a UV-grade fused silica substrate for excellent thermal and temporal stability. The reflective surface meets λ/10 surface accuracy and 10-5 scratch-dig surface quality. All-dielectric ion beam sputtered coated options are available.

The TECHSPEC Nd:YAG Laser Line Mirrors provide damage thresholds up to 5 J/cm2 at 355 nm with 10-ns pulses. The mirrors have a dense reflective coating and damage thresholds specific to the laser type and wavelength, offering >99.98 percent reflectivity at 1064 nm. They are available in 0° and 45° automated optical inspection options and a variety of harmonic designs.
