MONROVIA, Calif., Aug. 26, 2015 — Amada Miyachi LMWSThe LMWS laser marking workstation from Amada Miyachi America Inc. is designed for lean manufacturing and benchtop operation.

The system offers a range of marking capabilities for metals, ceramics and plastics, as well as cutting, drilling and welding capabilities. With a Class-1 design, the LMWS is powered by a 10- to 50-W fiber laser marker and uses the same graphical user interface for easy transfer from prototype to production phase.

The unit is suitable for low-volume production and R&D environments in the automotive, medical, aerospace, electronic component and battery industries.
