ST. GALLEN, Switzerland, April 12, 2013 — Fisba Optik AG has released the RGBeam laser module, a light engine that precisely couples three wavelengths together for life sciences, automotive, metrology and production technology applications.

The module measures 20.5 × 12.2 × 5 mm and can be customized as a light source for head-up displays in automobiles. Its three color frequencies can be mixed to create white laser-based light for fiber-coupled lighting applications, or the device can be adapted for ultraviolet light. Its improved focusing ability and high intensities also make it suitable for curing and drying polymers.
