WESSLER, Germany, July 3, 2020 — Laser Pre-Focusing UnitThe AXIALSCAN FIBER-30 laser pre-focusing unit from Raylase GmbH enables multi-faceted process optimization in e-mobility and additive manufacturing.

Designed for fiber-couple laser applications in welding and powder-bed processes, the units are easily integrated and offer various mechanical interfaces for ideal integration and configurability. Suitable mirrors are available for high-performance welding applications with laser power in the multi-kW range and other applications. Optical configurations are available for all standard beam parameters of lasers and their fibers. Large, pre-adjustable processing field sizes from 250 × 250 mm2 to 850 × 850 mm2 provide users with application flexibility.

Along with an integrated fiber collimator and process light output, an additional protective window ensures complete protection against dust. Type-specific tuning is available.
