Laser Physics UK Ltd. has expanded its Sperian line of high-transmission filters with a diode and YAG filter for its laser safety eyewear. Filter 162 has EN 207 protection levels 800-820 DI L6 and 920-1064 DIR L6 with a visible light transmittance of 57%. The filter is available in the Sperian Milan and the GPT XC laser eyewear. The latter features custom adjustments and patented multimaterial technology for increased comfort. Both have anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings and include a lifetime warranty for both frame and filter. The filter also is available in the large Encore over-the-glass spectacle for people who wear prescription glasses.
