LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Aug. 19, 2015 — Laser Tools SB10 Sea BeamThe SB10 Sea Beam laser scaler from Laser Tools Co. Inc. is a waterproof device that can measure size from a distance of 600 ft.

The SB10 directs two laser beams 75 mm apart, allowing remote-operated vehicles to view the scene through a camera. The laser dots are measured using video capture techniques, analyzing the range and size of the target.

The portable laser system is used to scale unusual objects, fish, reefs, artificial structures and mechanical fixtures at great sea depths.
