Ophir-Spiricon’s StarLab 2.01 laser power/energy measurement software converts a PC into a multichannel laser power/energy station. Features of the newest version of the software include Windows 7 64-bit compatibility and LabView support for the company’s Juno USB laser sensor-to-PC interface. The software works with the company’s smart displays and PC interfaces, allowing users to measure, analyze and record laser power and energy parameters from its line of smart power/energy sensors. It collects data from pyroelectric, thermal and photodiode heads using any proprietary laser power/energy meter, PC interface or combination of the two. The software logs power and energy, and calculates and displays averages, statistics and histograms. Windows 7 64-bit compatibility facilitates working with large data sets, and makes computations faster and multitasking more efficient.
