Bristol Instruments 771 SeriesA new spectrum analyzer from Bristol Instruments Inc. characterizes lasers over wavelength ranges from the visible to midwave-infrared.

The 771 Series includes shorter measurement times, more complete wavelength coverage, greater sensitivity and a more convenient user interface than the company’s previous model.

The device measures laser wavelengths from 375 nm to 12 µm to an accuracy as high as ±0.0001 nm, and laser bandwidth, longitudinal mode structure and frequency stability to a resolution as high as 2 GHz.

Continuous calibration with a built-in wavelength standard ensures consistent experimental results.
