PEABODY, Mass., Aug. 2, 2019 — Laser SubmountsTO-56 mini laser submounts from SemiNex Inc. are targeted for pulsed laser applications such as optical time domain reflectometry, long-distance range finding, and lidar.

A 5.6-mm diameter enables convenient drop-in replacements with existing TO-56 systems with a body length of 4.3 mm. Aperture widths of 50, 95, 180, and 350 µm are available with peak powers from 10 to 30 W. The model is immediately available at eye-safe wavelengths of 1310, 1550, 1625, and 1650 nm, with other wavelengths provided upon request.
