Photonic Products Ltd. has expanded its range of laser diode modules with the PM-606-P Photon, a near-infrared laser module that uses a 705-nm semiconductor laser diode from Opnext Inc. Designed for use in low-level laser therapy, biometric sensors and fluorescence sensing, the module offers an optical output power of 25 mW, power stability of <5% at a lasing wavelength of 705 nm and a low operating current of 75 mA. It operates from –10 to 60 °C.
