ILX_Lightwave.jpgILX Lightwave Corp. has introduced eight models of the LDX-36000 high-power laser diode drivers for testing laser diode bars, stacks and arrays. The devices deliver CW current output from 10 to 125 A and quasi-CW output from 20 to 220 A, with compliance from 10 to 70 V. The drivers provide precise low-noise current output, clean pulses and several laser diode protection features, including a thermistor-based temperature monitor, zero to full-scale voltage, and current limits, output shorting relays, low operating and power line transients, and closed-loop power supply control.
