Omicron.jpgRedphoton DFB, a narrow-bandwidth diode laser introduced by Omicron Laserage Laserprodukte GmbH, offers linewidth of <2 MHz, high output power and optional tunability. It uses Bragg gratings to provide single-frequency operation and has a coherence length up to 250 m. The modules are available in a wide range of IR wavelengths — from 760 to 1060 nm — and are suitable for Raman and alkaline spectroscopy, and for gas detection.
