The BWF-5 laser series, employing diode/diode-pumped solid-state laser technology, has been announced by B&W Tek Inc. Standard wavelengths are available at 810, 940, 980 and 1080 nm, with output power from 5 to 60 W. Custom wavelengths are available between 400 and 2500 nm. Applications include tissue cutting and ablation, photodynamic therapy, biomodulation, and tissue repair and rejuvenation. The series features user-friendly touch screens and is compact in design.
