Computar Optics - LensConnect Remote Control LensesThe LensConnect Series of motorized machine vision lenses were engineered to enable power supply and control through USB. This innovative Plug-and-Play lens series allows remote adjustments of the zoom*, focus, or iris and comes with a simple setup software compatible with Windows or Linux (*zoom adjustment for varifocal models only).

The remote control is easy to achieve — even without prior knowledge of the lens. The floating focus design delivers ultrahigh resolution from near to far, and stepper motors enable precise focus control and high repeatability.

LensConnect is ideal for numerous applications. It is ideal for focus and WD adjustment for objects of various heights, and remote adjustment of inaccessible equipment in out-of-reach locations and is suitable for embedded systems. LensConnect provides high-resolution imaging for industrial automation, allowing for precise inspection, quality control, and process monitoring. In the security and surveillance industry, they enable large-area monitoring, license plate identification, or detailed facial recognition with sensor compatibility up to 20 MP. LensConnect is also ideal for medical imaging. From endoscopy to microscopy, these lenses deliver sharp and detailed images, aiding in accurate diagnosis and surgical procedures. In addition, plug-and-play lenses play a vital role in traffic management and transportation systems by monitoring traffic flow, capturing license plate details, and identifying traffic violations.

LensConnect is easy to operate where manual adjustment is not possible and is available in fixed 8 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, 25 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, and 75 mm, and varifocal 4 - 10 mm, 9 - 50 mm, 12 - 36 mm, and 16 - 96 mm focal lengths.
