Lidar SensorThe Pandar128 lidar sensor from Hesai Technology is designed for automotive volume production.

With a high horizontal resolution and increased data points, the sensor features an IP6K9K rating and retroreflective detection with a ghost point rate of 1e-5 indoors and outdoors. High range accuracy and precision, as well as an optimized system architecture, minimizes power consumption to 27 W at 10 Hz. Pandar128 is embedded with features such as self-diagnosis for each beam, and the sensor data is encoded to safeguard against data misrepresentation or falsification.

A compact design allows for seamless integration into a vehicle’s exterior for a more aesthetic configuration. Comprehensive testing meets the full array of international automotive standards at the component, product, and process levels.
