Light-absorbent foil from Acktar is used to eliminate light reflectance in several applications.

The foil features a spectral absorbance of 99.99 percent and is available in pre-cut patterns or large sheets, up to 200 × 600 mm, with adhesive back mounts.

The foil eliminates light reflectance in applications where the direct coating of parts is not practical, including optical packaging, laser devices and platforms, IR systems or passive thermal control.
